The spring breeze blows once again, and all things come to life. On March 12, we celebrate the 48th Chinese Arbor Day. On this day of sowing hope, let us turn our attention once more to Alxa—there lies an ecological forest that the Best people have carefully protected for four years.

Four Years of Dedication: A 50-Mu Green Barrier

This year marks the fourth year that Best Group has participated in the “Planting Trees, Planting Hearts” public welfare campaign in Alxa. Over the past four years, Best employees have traversed the desert with their own footsteps and fulfilled their commitment through concrete actions. As of this year, the group has cumulatively pledged to plant 50 mu of border-protecting public welfare forests, continuously building a solid green barrier for Alxa. This unwavering dedication has also earned us the “Planting Trees, Planting Hearts” Corporate Social Responsibility Certificate for four consecutive years.

Alxa League is situated in the northern sand-control belt and serves as a vital component of the “Three Regions and Four Belts” ecological security strategy. Afforestation along the desert margins not only effectively curbs the spread of desertification but also restores land productivity and safeguards ecological balance. These desert-adapted shrub forests, with their deep roots firmly anchored in the sands, bravely withstand the onslaught of wind and sand, quietly shouldering the critical responsibility of ecological stewardship.

Green: From Concept to Action

At Best, green is not an abstract concept; it is a guiding principle that runs through the entire course of our corporate development. We take ESG as the underlying logic, align closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and integrate green principles into the processes of globalization and digitalization.

From raw material selection to finished garment shipment, Best has always adhered to green production and has obtained multiple international green certifications. All newly built factories are constructed in accordance with green factory standards, steadily moving towards the goal of near-zero-carbon factories. Green development involves both strategic planning and the cultivation of everyday habits. In Best’s office areas, infrared-sensor lights automatically adjust their brightness, and solar-powered energy-saving lamps are installed in every corner; in meeting rooms, paperless office work has become the norm; and at the washbasins, gentle reminders to “conserve water” quietly remind every passerby.

These seemingly small details add up to Best people’s daily green awareness. We believe that true green culture is not a slogan hung on the wall, but a habit integrated into daily life. Just as every tree planted in Alxa needs day-after-day care to grow into a forest—greenness has always been a long-distance race that requires patience.
