On September 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for Best Garment Group’s Phase II Factory in Cambodia was held in grand style, marking a solid and pivotal step forward in the Group’s global expansion journey.

Vice Chairman Albert Tan of the Cambodia Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Bagging Association; Minister of Labor Chek Borin from Prey Veng Province; Secretary-General Li Kunying of the Cambodia-China Garment & Textile Association; Chairman Lü Wenming of Hengan Yida Construction Co., Ltd.; representatives of the local district head and village chief were invited to attend this significant event. Yan Dingliang, Vice President of Best Garment Group, and Shen Yan, General Manager of the Laos Factory, accompanied by their team representatives, jointly witnessed this important moment.

At the outset of the ceremony, Mr. Albert Tan, Vice Chairman of the Cambodia Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Bagging Association, delivered an enthusiastic opening remark. He highly commended Best Garment Group’s positive contributions to Cambodia’s textile, apparel, footwear, and bagging industry development, expressed high expectations for the construction of the Phase II factory, and wished the project a smooth completion—hoping it would generate more opportunities for local economic growth and employment.

Subsequently, Minister Chek Borin of Prey Veng Province addressed the gathering. On behalf of the provincial government, he extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to Best Garment Group for its investment in Cambodia. One by one, they personally scooped up soil symbolizing hope and the future and poured it into the foundation trench. This solemn, sacred moment not only marked the official groundbreaking of the project but also heralded that Best Garment Group, driven by its international vision and strength, is poised to write a new glorious chapter on its journey to “go global.”

As a pivotal milestone in Best Garment Group’s global expansion journey, the Phase II Factory in Cambodia will be a modern smart factory spanning over 50,000 square meters. Planned with 60 intelligent production lines and set to employ 3,000 staff, it will comprehensively drive the industry’s intelligentization and sustainable development while striving to build a green factory.
